The Romans 13 Dilemma

Do you struggle with Romans 13? Does this chapter ever come up in discussions about our government and our role as Christians?

Romans 13: 1-7 (KJV)

1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God’s ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

This is not a blind, open endorsement of any specific government; but rather, an establishment of rule of law. It sets forth God's control and establishment of earthly rule. Without earthly laws we would have societal chaos and lawlessness. (I know that last sentence is ironic given our current regime's lawlessness and criminal acts.)

I've heard this chapter used too many times, as of late, to persuade believers that total submission to government is what's required. When you see what our government here in America is, and what it's leaders stand for, it is impossible to accept their rule. When our government’s laws contradict God’s law, we must carefully decide who’s kingdom we ultimately submit to.

I obey the laws of the land and pay my taxes for now (despite their unconstitutionality). But just imagine for a moment the laws that they plan to enact in the not-so-distant future.

Imagine for a moment: forced abortion, mandatory sterilization, forced separation of families, reeducation/internment camps, public execution of dissidents, and a mandatory biometric mark/implant in order to buy or sell. Does this sound acceptable to God? I think not!

What we see manifesting in the United States government today, is the same wicked spirit of antichrist that has manifested in so many other totalitarian regimes of the past. This is now a world wide descent into evil. This is the beast system of Revelation, the New World Order. It will not be stopped or set back by any means; however, submission to evil = acceptance of evil, and acceptance of evil = blasphemy of the most High God.

I cannot, and will not submit to this wicked government. I have nothing but contempt for such a Godless nation that promotes abortion, sodomy, pedophilia, torture, murder, destruction of the family, sacrifice of the innocent, and out-right hatred and blasphemy of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This government, and the other governments of the world are controlled by the worshipers of Lucifer and the practitioners of the ancient Babylonian mystery religions. They are the enemy of our God, and the enemy of His true church.

If we should cling to any part of Romans 13, let it be this:

11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

God’s Judgement Will Be on This Land Like Never Before

We Wrestle Not With Flesh and Blood

Get Ready America,

Repent and cry out to the Lord!!! The judgment of the Lord will be upon this land like never before with the destruction of DOMA and the rejection of the bill to ban abortion over 20 weeks in Texas. I had a dream a few nights ago. I was not sure of the meaning at the time. I was on an airplane and there was a woman on the plane that was almost like a monster. The plane was being destroyed by her and the pieces were being thrown down into the ocean where there were hundreds of hungry sharks just waiting to eat the people. I was on the plane witnessing the destruction and trying to stay out of the way so I wouldn’t get thrown to the sharks. Romans 5:6-11 (KJV)

6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
