This post will touch a few nerves, but if we ever needed sound righteous judgement and discernment it’s now. Both come from God, most specifically from the Holy Spirit. Remember Christ said he was sending the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth. How many have been deceived because you mis-judged someone or a situation? I know we have. And it hurts. Lets look at the definitions:

There has never in our memories been a time of so much deception and darkness. Its time to sharpen your gifts. Your gifts of discernment(judgement). This is a gift given to every Christian. A gift that, believe it or not, has been either refused or buried by many Christians. Especially the judge not lest ye be judged crowd. Yes, I agree that discernment is absolutely necessary, but having discernment without having the heart of God leads to finding fault in everyone and bashing the brethren. I learned that the hard way.
Very true! It takes the love and compassion of God to judge righteously but not be judgmental.
